This is a fansite for the TVOntario series Prisoners of Gravity. That's all there is to it. This site has been up and running in some form since mid March, 2001, with makes it quite old as far as fan sites go. I still currently run and update everything, even though I have next to no free time anymore.

As for who I am, my name is Rachelle Shelkey. I'm what happens when you're stuck growing up in a media addicted generation and read encyclopaedias because you're too curious for your own good. My interests are very wide; I was the only person in my final high school year to take a collection of art, English, math, science and computer courses while most students focused on one or two fields of study or dropped out completely. Not that all that education helped much, but hey.

Many people often ask me if I'm a science fiction fan or a comic fan or an anime fan or whatever new label is kicking around this week. In short: I'm a media fan. If it looks nifty, I'll chase it. I'm just as at home reading scholarly essays as I am watching grade z horror films.

I created this site because I just love Prisoners of Gravity. I thought it was the niftiest thing ever when I saw my first episode back in 1989. Even though I was only 6 years old at the time and didn't quite “get” it, I was in awe of it. I lost track of it when it shifted to time slots past my bedtime, so imagine my shock when I rediscovered the series in 1997. I've been hooked since. And who's my favorite character? Everyone seems to know that...

Me: It's funny. I've got so many pics of Nance compared to everyone else. :B

Me: I do! She's my most favorite character ever. 0_0
